    Overview

    Irian Jaya (Papua) is the second largest island in the world, attracting lovers of exoticism and adventure. This amazing island is rich in a variety of attractions, including Lake Sentani, Apayo Island, Doyo Lama Village (famous for its unique woodwork and rock paintings), Baliem Valley (homes of the Dani, Lani and Yali tribes), Asmat tribes famous for their artistic wood crafts, and the Karowai tribes build their tree houses, providing travelers with a unique experience.

    Day 1
    Arrival Jayapura - Wamena - Jetni - Vulik
    • Arrive in Jayapura with an English-speaking guide.
    • Flight to Wamena.
    • Transfer to Jetni (approx. 1 hour).
    • Trekking from Jetni to Esaliem village (Dani tribe village).
    • Hike from Esaliem to the village of Vulik.
    • Overnight in the village of Vulik.
    • Dinner prepared by the team and served in the village.
    • Trekking duration: 4-5 hours.
    • Accommodation plan: Vulika Local House
    • Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
    Day 2
    Beehive-Angelma-Polimo-Kylyse
    • Exploring daily life in Vulik.
    • Trekking to the village of Kilise, passing by Angelma and Polimo, villages of the Dani tribe.
    • The trek includes ascents and descents (4-5 hours).
    • Observing the farming activities of local residents.
    • Overnight in Kilis.
    • Accommodation plan: Kilise Local House
    • Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
    Day 3
    Kilise-Kurima-Seima-Khulesi-Sogokmo-Wamena
    • Breakfast, then descent to Kurima, crossing the suspension bridge.
    • Ascent to the village of Seima, then to the village of Khulesi, crossing the Yellow Bridge.
    • The trek ends in Sogokmo (5-6 hours).
    • Transfer by car to Wamena, visit to the market to buy souvenirs.
    • Transfer to the hotel for overnight.
    • Accommodation plan: Grand Baliem
    • Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch box
    Day 4
    Obeah (Pig Feast and Dance)-Wamena
    • Spending the day in the village of Obeah.
    • A pig feast and war dance showcasing the prehistoric culture of the Dani tribe.
    • Visit to the villages of Anemoygi and Sumpaima, where the 250-year-old mummy is located.
    • Providing lunch box.
    • Visit to a natural cave in the village of Vosilimo.
    • Transfer to the hotel in Wamena.
    • Accommodation plan: Grand Baliem
    • Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch box
    Day 5
    Wamena - Departure
    • Transfer to the airport for your charter flight to your next destination.
